Description

The CORE Coordinator couple develops a connection and ongoing relationship with each TCR CORE and encourages their participation in all TCR activities.  The CORE Coordinator couple promotes the expansion of CORE groups through (1) increased membership in existing CORE groups and (2) the development of new CORE groups.

The are currently 2 TCR CORE Groups:

• Eagan CORE - Meets 1st Friday of the month, 6:30pm

• Plymouth CORE - Meets 3rd Saturday of the month, 6pm

The Essential Functions of the Position

• Stay in contact with each leader of each CORE group and provide any help or assistance that they might need.

• Enthusiastically encourage CORE participation.

• Attend TCR Board meetings, acting as the liaison for each CORE with the Board.  

• Represent and promote the interests of CORE operation, expansion, and growth during Board discussions and actions.  

• Attend each CORE at least once per year.

• Have open discussions with CORE attendees about successes and disappointments of the CORE group.

• Brainstorm ideas on how to improve the CORE experience and how to boost attendance.

• Share ideas from other CORE groups.

  • Include new CORE ideas and resources in periodic emails to CORE contact couples

• Recruit new CORE members during POST sessions:

Experience and Qualifications

• Computer experience.  Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office 354, MS Teams a plus.

• Leadership and communication skills.

• Passion for helping couples heal their marriage.

• Energy and enthusiasm.

Monthly time commitment:  

Routine time commitment 1-2 hours per week and 2 hours to attend monthly board meetings currently held 3rd Tuesday of the month, 7pm - 9pm, held virtually on MS Teams.

CORE Coordinators encouraged, but not required, to attend the annual International Council Meeting (ICM), North Central Regional Gathering (NCRG), and Formation or Marriage Enrichment.  Cost to attend is paid by TCR.
